Database Design
Tiber Creek Consulting begins each database design project by completing comprehensive data modeling. Our experienced database design team helps our clients define tables and fields in databases. We create a blueprint of how all data will be stored. This time spent on the design helps to optimize storage and retrieval of all data from the database. We then create an OLTP (Online Transactional Processing) database according to the physical model. We implement all of our customer’s access requirements, defining which users have access to which tables, fields, and functionalities. We often set these custom databases to receive input from our custom applications that we create to automate our customer’s business processes.
