Information Technology Financial Auditor

Tiber Creek Consulting, Inc. is seeking cleared Financial Statement Auditors to work as part of an Audit team. Candidates should have a current DoD secret clearance, a strong background in Financial Statement Auditing, a 4 year accounting degree, a CPA or be CPA eligible. Auditors will break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand content, and work multiple tasks with tight deadlines while proactively seeking assistance from subject matter experts.

Location:Telework during COVID 19.
Education:Accounting (BA or higher) and CPA or CPA Eligible.
Experience:2+ Years of Financial Statement Auditor Experience.
Clearance:ACTIVE DoD SECRET or higher clearance.
Related Experience Should Include:
  • Accounting or Finance work experience.
  • Financial Statement Auditing and/or Audit Readiness.
  • Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) methodology experience.
  • Service Organization Control SOC Audit Experience.
  • Accounting firm background.
Job Duties:
  • Review Financial Statements.
  • Financial Audit documentation.
  • Review and generate reports based on audit results.
  • Support Audit teams.
Minimum Qualifiers:
  • Candidates must have current DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • U.S. Citizenship only (Dual Citizens are not authorized).
  • Unable to work with 3rd party candidates or agencies.
  • Only local residents to the Northern VA, DC, MD, or Tampa FL areas will be considered.
  • Proof of CPA or CPA eligibility.
