Program Manager

Tiber Creek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager (PM) for a contingent on-site position on our team. The ideal candidate must possess proven experience in managing Information Technology operations and Government contracts for the Department of Defense (DoD). The candidate must also have written and verbal communication skills to Senior Ranking Government officials.

Location:On-Site / Fort Rucker, Alabama
Education:Master’s degree in computer science or similar Information Technology field.
Certifications:PMP (required); DoDD 8570.01 IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) (desired).
Experience:12 years managing Information Technology operations for the DoD. Minimum 7 years’ experience with management of Government contracts specifically.
Clearance:DOD Secret Clearance.
Related Experience Should Include:
  • Proven leadership with direct experience leading and managing large-scale Information Technology teams, projects, or programs for the DoD.
  • Experience overseeing Government contracts—including contract compliance, reporting, and performance management
  • Demonstrated experience managing staff performance, conducting evaluations, and ensuring staff meet Information Technology security and technical standards.
  • Hands-on experience interfacing with Senior Ranking Government Officials, presenting program status, and resolving issues.
  • Familiarity with DoD Information Technology Security Policies, hardware, software, and communications technologies.
  • Demonstrated success delivering administrative, financial, and managerial oversight for multi-personnel teams in a secure environment.
  • Proven ability to manage tight timelines and quick-turn deliverables in an operational Army environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising staff, ensuring compliance with Information Technology security and technical requirements.
  • Solid history of direct communication with Senior Ranking Government Officials.
  • Experience delivering process improvements through Quality Control Plans.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Information Technology security policies, hardware, software, and communications technology relevant to DoD operations.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced, on-site Army mission support environments.
Job Duties:
  • PM shall provide all necessary personnel, administrative, financial, and managerial resources required to support this contract.
  • Replace, within a minimum of fifteen (15) business days, any contract personnel found to be unqualified, resign, or otherwise leave the current contract.
  • Provide PM and administrative support to ensure the requirements of the contract are met and to ensure the Contractor adequately controls and supervises all personnel who perform services under this contract.
  • Be the main point of contract for this contract and must have the ability to resolve issues in direct coordination with the COR.
  • Communicate project needs, coordinate project efforts, provide process improvements through the Quality Control Plan, and resolve scheduling issues.
  • Ensure employees under this contract are evaluated and demonstrate subject matter expertise in various Information Technology Security policies, hardware, software, and communication technologies.
Minimum Qualifiers:
  • Candidates must have current DoD Secret clearance.
  • PMP (required); DoDD 8570.01 IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) (desired).
  • Must be local to Fort Rucker, AL
  • Unable to work 3rd party candidates or agencies
