Tiber Creek Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Business Development (BD) Team. The BD Solutions Architect - a critical component of the BD team - takes potential customer and opportunity requirements/needs and translates them into viable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern software development processes and will play a crucial role in designing the roadmap that addresses requirements and meets our clients' needs.

As part of our BD Team, you will be applying your skills to innovative and vital projects for our Government clients. You will manage multiple complex tasks with tight deadlines and proactively collaborate with a variety of subject matter experts. This role requires a deep understanding of IT architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate and write complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. A focus on future technological advancements using LLMs, AI, Machine Learning, Azure, Data Mesh, Mobile, and large enterprise implementations is essential. Familiarity with Agile processes is also required.

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:10+ years’ experience in BD/Solution Architect/Technical roles. Experience with Business Development and Proposals for the Federal Government is required to be considered for this position.
Clearance:DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Related Experience Should Include:
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in IT, including software development.
  • Strong knowledge of modern software development processes, including Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions using cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent understanding of software architecture, including microservices and containerization.
  • Extensive experience with AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs).
  • Familiarity with data mesh architectures and mobile technologies.
  • Experience with various programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • DoD/Army experience preferred but not required.
Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Ability to work with and across functional and technical teams.
  • Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure IT solutions, including advanced AI and machine learning models.
  • Ability to translate customer "hot buttons" into a compelling solution and plan.
  • Lead technical discussions and presentations with clients to explain solution designs and benefits.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and other business development materials.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI, machine learning, and software development.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Ability to integrate services, hardware, and software considerations into a total solution.
Minimum Qualifiers:
  • Candidates must have current DoD Secret clearance.
