Tiber Creek Consulting, Inc. is seeking a SiteMinder SME (Platform Engineer) to help us support the US Army Human Resources Command. In this role you will maintain COTS versioning of Symantec SiteMinder, OpenLDAP, Apache OS, Apache HTTPD, and Adopt JDK. The successful candidate will have DoD Secret Clearance, CompTIA Security+ CE and experience with SiteMinder, OpenLDAP, Apache, and familiarity with JBoss and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You will manage and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and federated authentication solutions using SiteMinder; configure and maintain SiteMinder realms and load balancers (integrate SiteMinder and OpenLDAP with other systems and applications); configure and manage OpenLDAP directory services including schema design, access controls, and replication; and monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of SiteMinder and OpenLDAP systems. Additionally you will establish ELK logging interface to satisfy STIG and reporting compliance; develop and maintain custom policies, rules, scripts to enhance SiteMinder and OpenLDAP functionality; maintain SSL certificates for the LDAP and SiteMinder servers; collaborate with the IT security team to ensure that authentication and authorization systems are compliant with security policies and best practices; document processes, procedures, and technical configurations related to SiteMinder and OpenLDAP; and provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders. Experience:5-7 years related work experience is required.
Clearance:DoD Secret Clearance required.
Related Experience Should Include:
  • Installation, upgrades and maintenance for operating systems and applications; providing supporting data and documentation for systems and applications accreditation processes and change requests; verifying system, application, and configuration changes through testing and change management processes.
  • Managing and configuring application and network load balancers.
  • Microsoft Azure, AWS or related Cloud Experience.
  • Source Control experience; Team Foundation Server and Git preferred.
  • Basic Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, bash or similar preferred.
  • Security auditing such as SCAP/STIG/ACAS/etc.
  • Strong Linux background especially with OpenLDAP, Apahce OS, Apache HTTPD, and Adopt JDK.
Job Duties:
  • Configure, install, and update servers based on client service requests or as otherwise assigned.
  • Perform application installations and upgrades.
  • Implement, automate and improve infrastructure administration tasks.
  • Perform web application and database deployments to various environments such as build, test, and production.
  • Maintain and further improve the security, monitoring, and stability of enterprise environments.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of systems, applications, and computing equipment in client hosted or cloud hosted computing environments.
  • Accomplish special projects and other related duties.
  • Participate in rotating on-call and maintenance schedules / rotations as assigned, including occasional nights and weekends.
Minimum Qualifiers:
  • Candidates must have DoD Secret Clearance, due to military contract requirements.
