March 24, 2022
Fairfax, VA — Tiber Creek Consulting, a technology solutions company, was awarded the CMMC Enterprise Platform contract by GENEDGE Alliance.
GENEDGE Alliance, Virginia's Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP), partnered with the Maryland MEP and Connecticut MEP (CONNSTEP) to source a CMMC Enterprise Platform. The three state MEPs selected Tiber Creek Consulting to provide an enterprise technology solution platform for small and mid-sized Defense Industrial Base (DIB) organizations seeking Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance. The Tiber Creek platform, IntelliGRC, will be scaled to other MEPs and their clients across the USA.
“We are excited to continue to work with GENEDGE in providing accessible cybersecurity compliance support for small and mid-size businesses,” said Joshua Foster, Cyber Operations Manager at Tiber Creek. “Over the last few years, our team of cybersecurity analysts have been providing cybersecurity compliance services to clients in Virginia's MEP network. As a result, we've been able to better understand the challenges businesses face seeking compliance with government regulations. Our team of software developers have used that insight to develop the current IntelliGRC platform. And we look forward to continuing to mature our platform to best serve businesses in the Defense Industrial Based Sector.”
IntelliGRC is Tiber Creek Consulting's intelligent Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance platform for information security. The IntelliGRC platform helps businesses assess, remediate, and monitor cybersecurity compliance. The platform will provide a standardized approach to meeting CMMC requirements for Defense Industrial Based (DIB) clients of GENEDGE and the MEP network.
“Having a solution that standardizes the inputs, outputs, and processes around managing compliance will go a long way in normalizing the ever-growing complexity of subjective information out there,” said Asfand Saeed, Tiber Creek's Cybersecurity Operations Director. “The biggest challenge for SMBs is the ability to tap into the wisdom of information security SMEs in a cost effective and scalable manner; this is what IntelliGRC intends to normalize for the industry.”
The MEP Centers in all 50 states and Puerto Rico equip small and medium-size manufacturers with the resources to enhance growth and productivity while reducing costs. Manufacturers within the MEP network can access IntelliGRC to support their path to CMMC compliance.
